Sun Salutation

Position 1

Exhale; bring the hands together at the chest in the prayer position.

Position 2
Inhale; raise the arms up above the head, arch the back and tilt the head back.

Exhale; bend forward. The hands should be flat on the floor parallel to the feet. Bring the head to the knees.

Position 4

Inhale; stretch the right foot with all the way back. Keep the right knee on the ground and tilt the head back.

Position 5

Retain the breath; move the left leg back parallel to the right leg in the push up position. Make sure that the body remains in a straight line.

Position 6

Exhale; drop the knees to the floor first, then the chest and last the chin. Keep the buttocks a little bit up in the air.

Position 7

Inhale; push the body slightly forward into the Cobra position. Keep the head either forward or tilt it back.

Position 8

Exhale; lift the hips up, straighten the legs, heels on the ground. In this position the body looks like an inverted 'V'.

Inhale; bring the right foot forward and place it between the hands. Keep the left knee on the ground. Hold the head straight or tilt it back. This position is the same as Nr. 4.

Position 10

Exhale; bring the left foot forward next to the right foot. This position is the same as Nr. 3.

Position 11

Inhale; raise the amrs over the head and arch the back. This position is the same as Nr. 2.

Position 12

Exhale; bring the palms together at the chest in the prayer position as in Nr. 1.
